July 15 - July 16The next two days are about being effective and proactive. The series will not be picked up for a second season, unless we show our support! It has become increasingly important that we send letters to HBO, in correlation with our cracker shipments.We have all thought up a list of the top 10 reasons why HBO should pick up a second season of The Black Donnellys. Now, it's time to think up a list of the top 10 reasons how NBC failed The Black Donnellys. Again, think about it, then write it down. Mail your letter to HBO and you can even mail your letter to NBC if you have a spare stamp. Don't forget to visit the Firecracker Lounge and post your list for everyone to discuss.

July 14As our third cracker shipment (300 lbs of crackers) will arrive at HBO's doorstep on Tuesday, July 14, it becomes more significant that we send our letters of support for a second season! So break out those stamps and envelopes and start writing! Nothing is more intriguing than an unopened envelope.

July 9Today, July 9th at 9am CST, wraps up the letter and snail mail tallies. See below. So please send an email to info@savetheblackdonnellys.net to let us know how many emails and letters you have sent to HBO. The winner of this friendly competition will be announced tomorrow.While the contest may be over, we still need to keep sending our letters to HBO. The first shipment of the crackers (60lbs) are expected to arrive at HBO today, July 9th. We need to send letters in quantity and quality to HBO so that way they know we are truly serious about bringing back a second season of The Black Donnellys. Here are some things you can write about:
