What do you like or don't like about today's television programming? How do you think HBO will benefit from airing The Black Donnellys? Write them a letter or send them a paragraph via their Web site (for The Black Donnellys international supporters!). Don't forget to include a brief explanation of what the cracker shipments mean to you.

1) Write to Scott Poulson-Bryant at Giant Magazine. He wrote a great article back in February/March 2007 entitled The Black Irish in which he gave The Black Donnellys four stars. Read his article, send him a note of appreciation and let him know we are still very much alive in the fight to bring back a season two. Let's get him to join us!

2) Send an email to Jeff Simon at Buffalo News. He wrote a commentary entitled 'The Closer' could show HBO a few things. While the commentary does not mention TBD, let him know what you think The Black Donnellys could bring to HBO.

3) Yesterday's Item:
Many of you know that sweat1951 (from The Firecracker Lounge) also known as Jericho Saved, has been instrumental to the Save The Black Donnellys campaign. She will be posting a blog article in regards to the development and progress of the Save The Black Donnellys campaign at 9:30 AM EST and will create a digg* for this article.

Here's a three for one item. Since there are three tasks at hand, these daily items can be completed both Monday and Tuesday. We need your help! We are going to have to work harder this week.

1) News about The Black Donnellys: The Complete Series DVD was released just a few days ago (6/19-6/20). The 3-disc DVD will be released on September 4, 2007 and you can read more about the features and contents of the DVD here. Additionally, the DVD is available for pre-ordering on Amazon.com. Go pre-order your DVD copy today to lock in on the $34.99 price with FREE shipping. This would also make a great gift item for those you know, whether that be family or friends.

2) Also, rate The Black Donnellys DVD and write a review on Amazon.com. It is important that you write a review, so that other viewers will see your continued support and possibly gain interest in purchasing the DVD.

3) Finally, visit Copywrite, Ink's article entitled, "Selling DVDs: NBC, CBS and The CW" and leave a comment! Rich from Copywrite, Ink really hit the nail on the head. The DVD sales are just as important in our campaign to bring back a second season of The Black Donnellys. It is perceived that The Black Donnellys have a smaller fan base. We can prove this otherwise by increasing the DVD sales.

As dhebe, a member of The Firecracker Lounge says, "We're hitting them out of the ballpark with responses!" Be counted and get involved!
